MyLife Compass ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our personal development application.

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your email address and any profile information you choose to provide.

User Content

We store the content you create within the app, including:

• Goals and milestones
• Habits and tracking logs
• Tasks and planner entries
• Vision board images and descriptions
• Letters to your future self

Google Calendar Data

If you choose to connect your Google Calendar, we access your calendar data to sync tasks between MyLife Compass and Google Calendar. This includes reading your calendar list and creating, updating, or deleting events that you sync from our app. We only access calendars you explicitly select and do not read or modify events created outside of MyLife Compass.

We use your information to:

• Provide and maintain the MyLife Compass service
• Sync your tasks with Google Calendar when you enable this feature
• Send you notifications and reminders you've configured
• Improve our service and develop new features
• Respond to your support requests

Our Google Calendar integration requires access to your Google Calendar data. Specifically:

• Calendar access: We request permission to view your calendar list and manage events. This allows us to show you available calendars and sync tasks as calendar events.
• Email access: We request your email address to identify your Google account and prevent duplicate connections.

What we do NOT do:

• We do not read events you create directly in Google Calendar
• We do not share your calendar data with third parties
• We do not use your calendar data for advertising
• We do not store your Google password

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. We use Supabase as our database provider, which employs encryption at rest and in transit.

Google OAuth tokens are stored securely and are only used to maintain your calendar connection. You can revoke access at any time through your Google Account settings or within MyLife Compass.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal purposes.

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Correct inaccurate data
• Delete your account and data
• Export your data
• Revoke Google Calendar access at any time
